大正元年（1913）創業の造り酒屋です。
創業者が夢で金の瓢箪を付けた白馬に
「酒造りを始めよ」と告げられ始まりました。
当蔵の代表銘柄は「金瓢白駒」。
特徴は蔵の地下からくみ上げた井戸水で
日本酒を仕込んでいます。
「日本海に最も近い井戸で仕込んだ輪島の酒」として、
他にも「おれの酒」「能登の酒」
といった銘柄を販売しております。
キリっとした辛口が特徴で店頭では
試飲も行っております。
朝市
Wajima Asaichi Morning Market
日本三大朝市の一つ。新鮮な海産物をはじめ干物や野菜、民芸品などを扱う露店が、道の両側に所狭しと並びます。働き者の輪島の女性の呼び声が響き、奥能登の素朴な人情を感じることができます。
One of Japan's three largest morning markets, with vendor stands lining both sides of the street offering fresh and dried seafood, vegetables, traditional handicrafts, and more. The air is filled with the voices of Wajima's hard-working women, and the atmosphere is rich with the simple life of the Noto Peninsula.
白米千枚田
Shiroyone Terraced Rice Paddies
石川県輪島市白米町にある棚田。日本海に面した急斜面に小さな田が幾重にも重なり、海岸まで続く。日本の棚田百選、国指定文化財名勝に指定され、2011年6月には「世界農業遺産」にも認定された。
The terraced rice paddies of the town of Shiroyone, located in Wajima, Ishikawa, extend along the Sea of Japan coast, with many small paddies running along the steep slopes down to the sea. The Shiroyone Terraced Rice Paddies were selected as one of Japan's 100 finest terraced rice paddy fields, as well as nationally designated as a place of scenic beauty; in June of 2011, the Noto area, including these rice paddies, was also declared a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System (GIAHS) site.
輪島塗
Wajima-nuri Lacquerware
輪島市で生産される漆器。土台となる木地に生漆や米糊、輪島地の粉と呼ばれる焼成粉末珪藻土を混ぜた下地が幾重にも施され、蒔絵や沈金による美しさと堅牢さを兼ね備えています。
A type of lacquerware produced in Wajima. A carved wood core is covered with several layers of a mixture of unrefined lacquer sap, rice glue, and a type of fired, pulverized diatomaceous earth known as "Wajima jinoko," then decorated with powdered gold or gold inlay, for items as beautiful as they are durable.
